Extended product warranty terms and conditions
At Hoppekids, we provide an extended product warranty for all our ECO-certified products for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
Additionally, Hoppekids offers a product warranty for all our ECO-certified bed frames for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers material and/or manufacturing defects. The warranty presupposes that the product has been assembled correctly according to the assembly instruction and that all screws and similar have been tightened regularly. The warranty is not applicable for defects or damage caused by improper handling, improper use, or normal wear and tear.
Whether a legitimate complaint is resolved through replacement or repair is solely at the discretion of the manufacturer.
We accentuate that natural deviations in the wood cannot be considered as flaws or defects. Therefore, changes in the wooden structure or surface including knots becoming visible is not covered by the warranty.
Handling a warranty claim
Should there be an issue with an ecolabelled Hoppekids product within the warranty period, please contact the retailer, from which you have purchased the product. The retailer will, together with Hoppekids, examine the product and decide the extent to which it is subject to the product warranty.
Whether a legitimate complaint is resolved through replacement or repair is solely at the discretion of Hoppekids.
For the handling of product claims, it is necessary that you can present an original purchase invoice from a Hoppekids retailer with a visible date of purchase.

Our furniture is mainly made from slowly growing pinewood. Unique for these natural and valuable raw materials are the many irregularities, like small splits, small and large knots, differences in color, twisting and bending, which the processing cannot eliminate completely.
These genuine characters bear witness to decades of long growth in the forests. Some knots are replaced with wax. Products in clear lacquered pine are bright in the color, after some time however, depending on factors like light and sun in the room, the wood can become darker and different colors may appear.
On white painted surfaces the knots can become visible. Resin discharge can occur since the lacquer is manufactured on natural basis. This process is a visual display of the authenticity of the natural material. It can therefore not be accepted as a manufacturing defect.

Spare parts
To ensure that our products have a long lifespan, Hoppekids guarantees that spare parts, essential to the product's function, are available throughout the product's warranty period.
Spare parts for ECO-certified bed frames are offered within the warranty period of 10 years.
Spare parts, for another ECO-certified product as a whole, are offered within the warranty period of 5 years.
If a product is discontinued, Hoppekids guarantees that spare parts essential to the product's function, are available for a minimum of 10 years after the product is discontinued. Hoppekids reserves the right for the spare part offered to be able to replace the original part and fulfil its function, without the spare part having to be identical to the original part.
