Winner of Hoppekids Sustainability Award 2019
On December 12, 2019, was the Hoppekids Sustainability Award dedicated to Liene and Aleksandrs Roga founder of Babbit.
Babbit is a hi-fi sound system for the whole family. Babbit works this way - you put a Babbit sticker on your kid's toys, then you assign a specific audio to that sticker, and when your kid put the toy on the speaker the song, sound, podcast or story will be played. Your child can now explore new sounds without any screen!
A system for the whole family
Babbit is designed to spark curiosity, engages and educates your child from an early age through the magic of music. Babbit is a sustainable choice that is designed so both adults and kids can use it.
And the winner is...
"Thank you so much for this price! we are very honoured and very grateful. Sustainability and creativity are our two key areas. Babbit is a HIFI system, that is designed to last in families. Intuitive enough for a two-year-old to use it and cool enough for adults to enjoy!" says Liana from Babbit
Focus on sustainability
The business plan and the product behind Babbit are designed to reduce the number of products in our household, make the already exciting last longer and it even has a packaging which purpose is not to be "waste".
Babbit - one year later
A lot has happened for Babbit the last year regarding product development, concept development and collaborative processes. They are working on video and picture content that can be used for marketing. And they are focused on creating packaging of high quality made of 99% cardboard.
