Winner & Runner Up of Hoppekids Sustainability Award 2020
On December 10, 2020, was Hoppekids Sustainability Award handed to Tenna Holdorff Christiansen founder of ReCollector.
Recollector is a garbage sorting system, which makes it easier for you to sort your waste. The containers are made of 100% clean recycled plastic. The special thing about this plastic is that it can be used again and again and thereby protects the environment. When the containers are made there's used a total of 1,8 kg plastic that has been used before.
The start of ReCollector
ReCollector started when Tenna needed a smart garbage sorting system - because she was tired of having that plastic bag with used bottles hanging on her door and she didn't have enough space under the sink for it. She wanted a place where she could hide her waste without it being ugly. And that was the start of ReCollector.
Functionality and sustainability
Sustainability is one of the most important things for ReCollector and so is functionality. With a ReCollector container, it will make it easier for you to sort your garbage without it laying around the house. And that is the exact purpose of this brand. The design of the container makes it easy for you to place where you want and you can even put more containers together, so you have it all in one place.

For our Hoppekids Sustainability Award 2020, we had 2 amazing runner ups - 2 different companies that cares about the environment and that wants to change the future for the better for our children.
HabiCave - A small calming place
HabiCave was one of our runner ups for Hoppekids Sustainability Award 2020. HabiCave is an amazing brand that makes small cave for children in schools and daycare institutions. The Cave stimulates the senses and they are made to help you relax and remove stress.
HabiCave is designed after a Japanese paper folding Teknik called origami, which gives it a sculptural design and creates a safe and calming space for kids.
The HabiCave is not only a good calming space but it's also made in PET plastic from the oceans, which makes them sustainable, long-lasting and acoustic damping.
Målbar - a game-changing tool
Our second runner up at Hoppekids Sustainability Award was Målbar, which is no ordinary product, it's a game-changing tool for furniture companies. The purpose of the tool is to measure a products climate footprint and to see where it can improve, so we can fight climate changes.
The tool is a 3 level process that depends on data. And it calculates the total climate footprint relating to a product.
