What size bed should I choose?

You may have already figured out what type of bed your child should sleep in, but are you still unsure about what size bed will fit best in your home? Here are some considerations you should make:

How big is the child who will be using the bed?
How big is the room where the bed will be?

Whether you should choose a 70x160 cm, 90x200 cm, or 120x200 cm bed depends on the child who will be sleeping in the bed. It is recommended that the bed is 20 cm longer than the child who will be sleeping in it. Additionally, it is said that the larger the bed you choose, the longer your child can use it. However, you should make sure that your child feels comfortable sleeping in such a large bed.

The size 70x160 cm is good for smaller children. It can be reassuring to sleep in a bed that is not much bigger than oneself. It is a popular size that many choose to use between the crib and the big bed.

The sizes 90x200 cm & 120x200 cm are good for slightly larger children or for children who are comfortable with having plenty of space around them when they sleep. Many choose the larger size because there is plenty of room to grow and therefore the bed can be used for a longer time.

When we talk about the sizes 70x160 cm, 90x200 cm, and 120x200 cm, it is also important to remember that these sizes refer to mattress sizes and not the measurements of the bed itself. The exact measurements can be found under each bed. The thickness of the bed legs and edges depends on the bed series you choose. The ECO Luxury series has the thickest posts, followed by the ECO Dream, and finally the ECO Comfort with the least thickness.

Description

ECO Dream mid sleeper bed with slide from Hoppekids is a fun and practical bed. It fits perfectly in even small children's rooms because there is extra floor space under the bed for either storage or play.

The height of 105 cm is good because your child has to climb into bed - and thereby train their motor skills - but not so high that it feels unsafe. If you hang curtains in front of the bed, you can create the coziest hideout - possibly decorate it with fairy lights, nice pictures, a mattress, pillows, and blankets.

The slide transforms the bed into a playground, making it fun to get up in the morning. The slide and ladder can both be mounted on either the right or left side.

The surface is treated with water-based lacquer free of unnecessary chemicals and harmful substances.

The bed is divisible. This means that you can convert it into a junior bed if you no longer want a raised bed.

Delivery of beds is always made to the home address by courier. When you order your bed, a Track & Trace number will always be included so you can follow your order. Our delivery partners will always make sure to contact you before delivery to ensure that you are present to receive the item.

What is the exact delivery date and time?

Due to the beds' long and complicated journey from the factory to the final address, it can be difficult to estimate an exact date and delivery time. Deliveries usually take 5 - 7 business days, with the exception of any public holidays. Our logistics partner will always try to contact you by phone to confirm that you are present to receive your item.

Damage to goods during transport

If the goods have been damaged during transport, we recommend that the goods are always accepted regardless. Based on the extent of the damage, with your help, we will identify which parts have been damaged and send replacement parts at no extra cost.

ECO Dream Toddler bed forms the base for all other modular beds in the ECO Dream series. This means it can easily be converted into, for example, a mid-high bed, and that the bed can always grow with your child’s needs. The conversion options depend on color and size.

🧽 Maintenance and manufacturer warranty

Cleaning: Can be washed with a hard wrung cloth and mild soapy water.

All Hoppekids beds come with a minimum 10-year manufacturer’s warranty and a 10-year spare parts warranty. ECO Luxury and DELUXE come with a Lifetime Warranty.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects. The warranty assumes that the product is assembled correctly according to the assembly instructions, and that all screws and similar have been tightened regularly. The warranty does not cover faults or damages caused by improper handling, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Whether a valid complaint is resolved by replacement or repair is solely at the discretion of the manufacturer.

We emphasize that natural variations in the wood cannot be considered defects or flaws. Therefore, the warranty does not cover changes in the wood's structure or surface, including visible knots.

Own factory and sewing room

Hoppekids has its own factory, which means that we can control our products and the materials we use ourselves. This means, among other things, that all the wood we use is carefully selected according to a number of criteria regarding quality, irregularities and - of course - that it comes from sustainable forestry.

To minimize waste, we use computers to calculate how the wood should be cut in the best possible way. This means that we have very little waste – and we also use all wood waste to produce energy for production. We have our own sewing room, where our skilled seamstresses create the fine textiles from our worlds. The applications on curtains and other textiles are sewn by hand. We do this because it provides the best quality. At the same time, it is also more fun to touch for a curious child who is in the process of developing their senses.

Compact shipping

All furniture that is shipped is "self-assembly." The furniture is packed in such a way that we ensure as little air as possible in the package, while also making sure that it arrives intact and undamaged. This is much more environmentally friendly, because we avoid transporting unnecessary air.
With our optimized packing methods, this also means that we are able to offer low-cost or free shipping on your orders.
