Product warranty
At Hoppekids, we offer an extended product warranty for all our products that are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects. The warranty requires that the product is assembled correctly according to the assembly instructions, and that all screws and similar items have been tightened regularly. The warranty does not cover errors or damages caused by incorrect handling, incorrect use, or normal wear and tear.
Whether a justified complaint is resolved through replacement or repair is solely at the discretion of the manufacturer.
We emphasize that natural variations in the wood cannot be considered as errors or defects. Therefore, the warranty does not cover changes in the wood's structure or surface, including visible knots.
Processing a warranty claim
If a problem arises with a Swan-labeled Hoppekids product within the warranty period, please contact the retailer where the product was purchased. The retailer, in collaboration with Hoppekids, will examine the product and assess the extent to which the product is covered by the product warranty.
Whether a justified complaint is resolved through replacement or repair is solely at Hoppekids' discretion.
In order to process a warranty claim, it is necessary for you to present an original purchase invoice from a Hoppekids retailer, which includes a visible date of purchase.

Wood - A natural material
Our furniture is mainly made of slow-growing pine wood. Unique to these natural and valuable raw materials are the many irregularities such as small cracks, small and large knots, color differences, twisting and bending, which cannot be completely eliminated in production.
These natural characteristics are evidence of decades of growth in the forests. Some knots are replaced with wax. Products in clear-coated pine wood are light in color, but over time, depending on factors such as light and sun in the room, the wood may darken and different colors may appear.
On white-painted surfaces, the knots may become visible. Resin secretion may occur as the lacquer is made on a natural basis. This process is a result of using natural and authentic materials in production. Therefore, it cannot be accepted as a material and/or manufacturing defect.
Spare parts
In order to ensure that our products have a long lifespan, Hoppekids guarantees that spare parts essential to the product's function are available throughout the product's warranty period.
Spare parts for swan-labeled bed frames are offered within the 10-year warranty period.
Spare parts for another swan-labeled product as a whole are offered within the 5-year warranty period.
If a product is discontinued, Hoppekids guarantees that spare parts essential to the product's function are available for at least 10 years after the product is discontinued. Hoppekids reserves the right to offer a spare part that can replace the original part and fulfill its function, without the spare part necessarily being identical to the original part.
